Today, Directioners globally are celebrating five years of One Direction! While we didn’t end up with five members, we have had the joy of four albums, with a fifth coming soon, and films and books along the way.
We started with Harry, Louis, Zayn, Niall and Liam, and we may have lost Zayn recently but at least we still have the four boys, carrying on with the OTRA tour despite a lot of trauma in the fandom this year.
From ‘Up All Night’ to right now, the Directioners have been some of the most dedicated fans that I know, not the mention some of the kindest! While the boy band have had ups and downs, the fandom has stayed strong and true, something admirable.
We’re sure that much more music will be on its way soon, but until then we will carry on supporting all of One Direction!
