For the fourth week in a row, Danish band Lukas Graham’s single 7 Years is in the number one position on the UK charts.
BBC Radio 1 just released this week’s The Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart and the band’s hit single is a non-mover, yet again. It beat both Rihanna’s single Work, which was in the second position, and ZAYN’s Pillowtalk, which has moved down to number six on the chart.
The band is currently busy outside their home country, Denmark. Lukas Graham recently announced a North American tour after their success in the US. Last week, the band also announced three shows in the UK. The four lads will visit Manchester, London, and Birmingham in May. On March 2, Clara Amfo from BBC Radio 1 revealed that Lukas Graham will do a live lounge session on March 10.
Their worldwide, self-titled, debut album was originally set to be released on March 25. However, the band’s lead singer and frontman, Lukas Graham Forchhammer, released a statement on Twitter, where he said that it had been rescheduled for April 1. It is currently available for pre-order on iTunes.
