Shawn Mendes and Niall Horan are collaborating! Two of the biggest names in music want to team up and write a song or two together.
In an interview with ET Canada, Mendes, 20, said, “We will…we started really seriously talking about it. 100% going to happen. Niall and I talk about this pretty much anytime we see each other.”
The two friends always spark rumors when they post pictures together and now our dreams are coming true! We may have to wait a while but a while is better than never.
“We started really seriously talking about it that night,” he said. There is nothing in the works right now, but soon. They are just too busy enjoying each other’s company. We love the bromance boys but get into that studio ASAP.

They want to hit the studio as soon as possible and “get their diaries together to see what they come up with.”
This is probably a huge dream come true for Mendes, as he is such a big fan of One Direction. Honestly, it is a huge deal for us too.
Both men performed on stage with Taylor Swift this past summer on her reputation Stadium Tour, so they are no strangers to collaborating and sharing the stage.
With Horan, 25, just ending his tour in September and Mendes heading on tour in 2019, now is the perfect time to put those creative minds together and release the best song of the decade.
There is no word yet on when this collab will happen, but we will be holding our breath until it does.
Their voices together might just be the death of everyone. swoon
Mendes currently received his first Grammy nominations for Best Song and Best Pop Vocal Album.
