Lyrically, ‘Dying’ grapples with the suffocating weight of heartbreak, the feeling of losing yourself piece by piece. But what might have been a bleak meditation transforms into something empowering through Omar’s delivery. “For me, this song is about letting go and just singing straight from the heart,” Omar explains. “It’s simple but at the same time massive — like when you can’t hold back everything you’re feeling anymore. It carries both pride and vulnerability, and that’s what makes it so real. The first time I heard it, I knew I had to release it because it reflects so much of what I’ve personally been through.”
