I though “Scream Queens” was a musical. I was wrong.
In the past few months, you could not possibly have gone on the internet or read a magazine with out seeing popular celebrities hands dripping in blood with a sly smirk coating their face. “Scream Queens”, the new FOX show made by the same people who made “Glee” and “American Horror Story”, was seemingly everywhere for promotion, but the plot details were kept super secret.
If you put Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer and Abigail Breslin in a TV show, I am going to assume there will be singing. There was no singing. This is clearly a missed opportunity. Imagine how mind blowing the show would be: musical/horror/comedy. Ariana would be belting those high notes while getting stabbed. Nick would be doing rifts while playing golf or sing a song a la “Gaston” in Beauty and the Beast while working out.
That depression aside, my DVR was set. I ended up slowly fast fowarding though some of the show. It just was not for me. I am not a fan of tv shows. Books, I like books, if this were a book series, I’d totally read it.
From what I got from my half watching and half fast fowarding was this:
*Emma Roberts plays a great mean girl…is she even acting…no she’s acting
*Why are these girls so mean…they need a hug
*NICK JONAS HAS HIS SHIRT OFF S.O.S
*That was a kinda funny line
*Ariana, No. No. NOOO.
* Wow, every guy in this series is HOT, thanks FOX
*Can’t process the fact Nick Jonas is suppose to be dead because he’s in his underwear
*THAT WAS A PLOT TWIST
Was it a good show? Yes, it seemed so. Would I watch it again? To see Nick Jonas, yes.
