What exactly is Aaptiv?
Aaptiv is a health and fitness application that allows users to take audio fitness classes from wherever they wish and at any time. Whether that be at the gym, outdoors, or in their home, Aaptiv can be used anywhere!
How does it work?
The app offers over 1,000 audio classes. To narrow down your options, choose from categories such as meditation, walking, treadmill, outdoor running, elliptical, indoor cycling, yoga, and strength training. You can also select from different training programs such as 5k training, 10k training, half marathon training, and full marathon training. Once you select a category, you will see a variety of classes with different instructors and times. The classes also differ in difficulty, so don’t worry if you’re new to working out!
Why should I download it?
You can receive personal training straight from your phone from a U.S. Navy Seal, a former NFL player, or a certified running coach. Sometimes we all just need a little push to help motivate us, and the Aaptiv instructors do just that.
Aaptiv also keeps track of how many miles you traveled, minutes you worked out, and how many calories you burned! It keeps a log of which classes you have taken and on which day. Users can also save classes they really enjoyed in their “favorites” tab. On top of that, Aaptiv also has an extensive music library to listen to while working out!
