Rising star Abby Roberts continues to showcase her forthcoming EP with the release of her new single ‘Cigarette Burns’.
Written by Abby alongside Noah Terefe and Casper Miles, ‘Cigarette Burns’ is a deeply personal and candid release from the beauty creator and social media star-turned musical artist. “I’m running on empty / Look up to the stars / I know I’ll move past this / But it hurts right now,” she sings on the melancholic chorus
Speaking about the track, Abby said: “‘Cigarette Burns’ is a deeply personal song I wrote about one of my lowest points in my past few years, it’s about mental health, physical pain and loss; writing it really helped me cope with those complex feelings – I can look back on the song and find comfort in it now.”

‘Cigarette Burns’ is the latest release from Abby, following on from ‘bandaid’, ‘Pink Champagne’ and her debut single ‘Paramaniac’. Abby has a huge online following including more than 17 million followers on TikTok alone thanks to her beauty content. However, over the past few months that following has grown even stronger thanks to the release of her heartfelt, alt-pop singles.
This summer, Abby will be performing at a number of flagship festivals including Brighton’s Great Escape Festival, Community Festival and Reading & Leeds. Plus, she will be supporting Halsey across a string of shows on their ‘Love and Power’ tour in North America. If that wasn’t enough, you can also catch Abby on her remaining UK tour dates this month!
