London-based boyband Absnt Mind are back with a raw, pulse-pounding new single, ‘Stitch’, a track that threads emotional vulnerability through slick pop production and alt-R&B undertones.
Known for their seamless harmonies and introspective lyrics, the rising quintet continue to blur the lines between classic boyband charm and modern sonic experimentation.
With ‘Stitch’, the boys take inspiration from retro classic songs like Elton John’s ‘Bennie And The Jets’ and Ben Folds ‘Hiroshima (B B B Benny Hit His Head)’, to pull listeners into a darker, more mature soundscape — it’s a reflection on heartbreak, healing, and the messy art of holding a loved one together when everything around them seems to be falling apart.
Co-written by the band along with Anya Jones (Little Mix, Sugababes), JC Stewart and Alex Stacey during one of their first sessions at the legendary Metropolis Studios, and produced by Gil Lewis (XO) and Matt Rad, the single serves as the follow up to previous releases ‘Simpatico’, ‘Wardrobe’ and ’Special’.

After a whirlwind summer packed with sold-out headline shows, standout sets at Brighton Pride (where they opened for Mariah Carey), Bear Grylls’ Gone Wild Festival, and Electric Picnic, plus support slots for Sugababes and Olly Murs, Alex, Ashton, Conor, Freddie and Oscar aka Absnt Mind are riding a serious high!
Ahead of their upcoming promo trip to Japan, the group will close the year with an intimate London headline show at The Grace on Sunday, December 21st — with tickets on sale Monday, November 3rd from Livenation.com.
Off stage, the boys enjoyed a major viral moment when Sabrina Carpenter herself reposted their ‘Manchild’ video on TikTok — and now, the momentum around them shows no sign of slowing. The band are back in the studio working with pop heavyweights Ed Drewett and Mike Needle, crafting their next chapter.
