British boyband on the rise Absnt Mind relish in the joy of young love this week, with the release of their anthemic new single ’Daylight’.
Produced by Jack Britten, with additional production by Matt Rad (One Direction, Little Mix, Demi Lovato), and mixed by Alex Ghenea (Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter), the infectious and uplifting pop track sees the band lyrically explore the excitement, innocence, and discovery that often comes when experiencing a romantic kind of love for the first time.
Written by the group along with Britten, the single received its first radio play on BBC Radio 1’s Future Pop show this week following the lads performance on CBBC’s Saturday Mash up this past weekend.

Made up of Alex Benson (20, Chester), Ashton Henry-Reid (19, London), Conor Marcus (19, Belfast), Fred Meyer (18, Derby), and Oscar Williams (19, Skipton), the group has amassed a large and loyal fanbase following the release of their debut single ‘No Strings’.
With their music blending catchy pop hooks with meaningful themes, such as breaking free from societal pressures and embracing the joy of living in the moment, the quintets work with top producers like Billen Ted (JC Stewart, Joel Corry), The Futuristics (Justin Bieber, Why Don’t We) and Kamille (Kylie Minogue, Little Mix, Anne Marie) hints at their potential to redefine boy band culture in the modern pop landscape.
