Adele and Selena Gomez, two of the most influential music personalities of our generation are officially crowned as the only female artists in 2015 to debut in the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100. Both of the songstresses left artists like Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj behind with their respective singles, ‘Hello’ and ‘Good For You’ debuting directly to the top 10.
Adele’s ‘Hello’ is the leading single from 25, the third studio album of the British Songwriter which is scheduled to be released on November 20, 2015, and is labeled as one of the most anticipated albums of 2015.
On the other hand, ‘Good For You’ is the leading single of Selena’s second solo studio album, Revival which has been released on October 9, 2015 and has gained positive reviews from critics. It debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200, making it her second solo consecutive number one album.
