Fabulous songstress Adele is reportedly taking a five year break from music – say it ain’t so! The lovely lady herself is said to be taking a break to spend more time with her three-year-old son, Angelo and her partner of five years, Simon Konecki.
A source revealed to The Sun yesterday: “She has told her closest pals she will step away from the limelight for five years before she next brings out an album. She’s still very new to motherhood and doesn’t want to miss out on Angelo growing up. It will be a hard thing for fans to hear.”
The ‘Hello’ singer is currently on her tour which spans 105 dates across UK, Europe and North America and is due to finish in November in New Mexico. We think we would definitely need a break too after working that hard!
Adele previously took a three year break in order to record new material before returning to release her best-selling album ’25’ last year. We know her dedicated fans love her so there is no doubt she will receive a warm welcome back after her next break.
If you want us, we’ll just be listening to her three previous albums on repeat whilst crying about break ups we have yet to go through.
