Rising British pop-rock four-piece AFTERDRIVE continue to make waves with the announcement of their debut EP ‘Dress To Drive’, alongside a run of UK headline dates this autumn.
The four-track EP will arrive on October 9th, 2026, following the breakout success of the band’s alt-pop anthems ‘Fashion’ and ‘Neon View’. The latter has been picking up support from UK radio tastemakers, including BBC Radio 1’s Alyx Holcombe, who has played the track on both her Indie Show and BBC Introducing Rock Show, as well as Jess Iszatt and BBC Introducing… host Angelle Joseph.

AFTERDRIVE will preview the new era with a hometown headline show at Baths in Ipswich on September 19th, before taking the Dress To Drive Tour to Manchester on October 23rd, Birmingham on October 24th and London on October 27th. Tickets are on sale now.
As an added incentive for early ticket buyers, fans who purchase tickets within the first 14 days will receive the EP’s closing track, ‘AFTERDRIVE (Outro)’, weeks ahead of its official release.
The band have also unveiled a VIP ticket package, which includes a signed limited-edition poster, a tour-exclusive CD edition of ‘Dress To Drive’, early venue entry and access to merchandise, a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity, VIP laminate and the chance to vote for a song to be included in the setlist.
But ‘Dress To Drive’ is being positioned as more than a collection of singles. Across four tracks, AFTERDRIVE have constructed a cinematic narrative centred on a protagonist consumed by desire, image and the need for escape. The story moves from attraction to addiction, tracing the shift from calm to recklessness before ultimately arriving at loss.
The EP announcement arrives during a breakthrough year for the Suffolk band. AFTERDRIVE recently appeared as one of the headliners at Ipswich’s inaugural Halo Festival at Trinity Park, sharing the bill with indie heavyweights Two Door Cinema Club and The Vaccines.
The band also kicked off 2026 with a sold-out headline show at The Waterfront Studio before supporting The Entitled Sons and subsequently joining US pop-rock star Maggie Lindemann on a major UK and European tour. The run of high-profile shows has helped sharpen the band’s reputation as an explosive live act.
With ‘Dress To Drive’ now officially on the horizon, AFTERDRIVE look set to take another major step forward – moving from emerging act to one of the UK’s most promising new names in pop-rock.
