They have really outdone themselves; first “Toxic“, then “Take Me“, then “You’re The One That I Want“, now “Say My Name”. As Seen On TV by Alex & Sierra is bound to become one of the best albums we’ve heard all year.
Released on 30 September, As Seen On TV has had four instant grat singles so far; but Alex & Sierra have totally outdone themselves with “Say My Name”.
This Destiny’s Child cover version was first performed on The X Factor US during the live shows. Now, as a studio version, they’ve blown their own live performance out of the water.
Soulful, emotional and full of feelings, there are just no words to describe how amazing this cover version is. Alex Kinsey’s raspy vocals send spine-tingling sensations to the listeners; whilst Sierra Deaton’s beautiful voice kicks in out of nowhere.
The bridge is perfect, swapping vocals for each of the lines adds texture and flavour as they lead up to the harmonising chorus that is just as on point as Destiny’s Child were but with their typical Alex & Sierra twist.

What’s not to like about this album? Having already covered Britney Spears’ “Toxic” released the original song “Take Me” as well as covering the Grease classic “You’re The One That I Want“; this album is set to be the one we all want.
Fully released on 30 September with exclusive signed CDs available to buy on their online store; As Seen On TV will really prove why Alex & Sierra were worthy winners of The X Factor US.
We love this version of the Destiny’s Child classic, what do you think? Tweet us your thoughts @CelebMix.
