    Aliens Don’t Ring Doorbells to Release New Single Ahead of Mental Health Awareness Month

    Get ready to rock out this April 21st, as the rock band Aliens Don’t Ring Doorbells drop their newest single, ‘Are You Crazy?’ from their upcoming sophomore album. With May’s Mental Health Awareness Month just around the corner, the Bahamas-UK-Spain-based group wants to raise awareness of the importance of mental health through their newest release.

     

    Known for their upbeat, catchy choruses and anthemic lyricism, ADRD has made a name for themselves in the music industry. ‘Are You Crazy?’ showcases a different side of the band, with more introspective and inward-looking lyrics. However, the band still brings their signature powerhouse energy to the table with soaring guitars and a thundering rhythm section that will leave listeners in awe. The vocals are passionate and raw, inviting fans to release their emotions through the music.

     

    Frontman Adam King sheds some light on the song’s message, stating, “Mental illness is often misunderstood; people can be quick to dismiss it as something that’s ‘all in your head’. But the truth is, conditions like depression and anxiety are the result of complex chemical imbalances in the brain that affect your entire body. As someone who has struggled with clinical depression for many years, I can attest to the fact that it’s not just a matter of feeling ‘sad’ or ‘down’ – it’s a pervasive feeling of unease and anxiety that can make even the simplest tasks seem insurmountable. For me, having the support of my loved ones has been crucial in managing my depression. And while the medication isn’t the right solution for everyone, it has helped me to balance my serotonin levels and improve my mood and overall well-being. So if you’re struggling with mental illness, know that you’re not alone – and that there is help out there. Remember: a problem shared is a problem halved.”

     

    ADRD has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Scouting for Girls and Roachford. Their live shows are a testament to their ability to connect with their fans, spreading messages of hope and positivity wherever they go. During the release of ‘Arrival’ in 2020, the album was received with open arms, cementing ADRD’s place in the pop-rock scene. Their tracks “Daylight” and “It’s Your Night” even broke into the Top 30 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts.

    With their highly anticipated sophomore album set to release in September of this year, ‘Are You Crazy?’ is the perfect teaser to get fans excited.
