Allegra explores innovative instrumentation with emotional ‘Everything I Wanted’ cover

Allegra is no stranger to pushing the envelope. Whilst she may be making a name for herself with covers, there’s no denying that each song she turns her hand to is one which gets a complete makeover under her watchful eye.

Keeping with the theme of unique and interesting musicality, Allegra uses a selection of de-tuned guitars and has them percussively played using a timpani mallet – this follows the theme she set out in her previous cover videos; Sam Smith ‘How Do You Sleep’, where the melody was played out on bottles, and Loud Luxury’s ‘Body’, where she was accompanied by a whole drumming troupe.

‘Everything I Wanted’ sees the singer take to the floor in natural makeup and a flowing dress, tackling the Billie Eilish song with a quiet maturity and sensitive nature.

This cover follows in the footsteps of previous cover versions of famous tracks, as well as her original song, ‘All About Us’, which was a Billboard and iTunes success story the world over.
