The latest single from September’s hotly-anticipated debut album, ALMA teams up with ‘Chasing Highs’ hitmakers Hitlmpulse on ‘Lonely Night’.
Labelling her latest coarse electropop flick as a “sad party song”, ALMA gets to grips with a return to single life on a late night dancefloor. “She said I love you, but not the way you do” the Finn laments on ‘Lonely Night’.
Coming from debut record Have You Seen Her?, set for release in September, it’s the latest taste from a disrupting pop voice that has been banging on the door ever since 2016’s debut Dye My Hair EP.
With pounding pop hits in ‘Chasing Highs’, ‘Dye My Hair’ and ‘Phases’ (to name just a few), ALMA’s voice is turning more heads than ever. Featuring on tracks with the likes of Charli XCX, Clean Bandit, Tove Lo and Martin Solveig, the 23-year-old has also spent the last few months in the studio with Miley Cyrus, co-writing the megastar’s most ear-catching tracks ‘Mother’s Daughter’ and ‘Cattitude’ of her She is Coming EP.
Making a bold return into the spotlight with ‘Lonely Night’, ALMA continues to twist her bold vocals over new production as she prepares for September’s full body of work. A busy summer of festival shows continues in Germany at Southside Festival and Hurricane Festival this weekend, before stops at Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, Roskilde and Sziget before finishing off with a main stage slot at Reading and Leeds in August.
Then, after dropping Have You Seen Her?, ALMA heads out on her own headline European tour across the UK, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland and Estonia.
