Olympic athlete, Aly Raisman, accepted an invitation for a date from Oakland Raider, Colton Underwood.
The 22-year-old recently represented Team USA at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. She won gold with the “Final Five” and two silver medals in the individual competitions.
In an interview with Yahoo! Sports, Aly discussed the qualities she looks for in a boyfriend.
“I personally feel like I have a lot in common with athletes,” she said, adding that she wants to date someone “that likes to work out just because you can work out together.”
Towards the end of the segment, the interviewer showed Aly a video from Oakland Raider, Colton Underwood. Colton said if Aly is ever in San Jose, they should go on a double date with Shawn Johnson and Andrew East. Both Shawn and Andrew are also friends with Aly, and Aly guessed that Shawn gave Colton the idea. Watch the video on Yahoo! Sports.

Aly and the rest of the Final Five will be hitting the road for Kellogg’s Tour Of Gymnastics Champions next month. On September 18, Aly will be in San Jose, which means that it’s the perfect time for the two to meet up!
However, in the same video segment for Yahoo!, Aly said she is unsure about having a long-distance relationship.
“I’ve never done a long-distance relationship before, so I can’t really say, but obviously it’s more convenient if they’re closer to you,” she said. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens!
