One of the most important things a child can have in this world is an education. Unfortunately, many schools are without some of the most necessary supplies to make those educations full. Students need not only subjects like english and science, but art and music too, and the systems just don’t have enough money or supplies. Box Tops for Education has stepped in with a plan to change this and some of your favorite celebrities are also getting involved.
Alyson Hannigan has played a number of roles on television, like our personal favorite Lily from How I Met Your Mother, but her new primary role in life is a mom. Becoming a mother for Alyson solidified how important it is to have a full education and made her more aware of the shortage of supplies that children in school today need. She paired up with Box Tops for Education and is raising awareness so that you too can help children in your own community, just by collecting box tops or even taking a photo of your receipt and handling it all digitally!
We got to talk to Alyson a little bit about being a mom, how important school is, and her new projects and had some laughs along the way.
