Andy Brown to Release ‘The Greatest Showman’ Cover Album

Andy Brown is one of the most exciting names in and around the ever growing UK country music scene and his debut album ‘Cedarmont’ is one of the most anticipated. The LP was set for a Summer release but Decca Records decided to push back the drop date with it now scheduled for a late 2018, early 2019 release.

But, this set back has not stopped Brown who has recently releases his rock infused single ‘About Last Night’ and also announced details of an exciting new project.

The former Lawson frontman  who will reunite with his bandmates on October 23rd for a sold-out show in London, has confirmed that this Monday he will be dropping his cover album of The Greatest Showman soundtrack.

The musical starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, and Zendaya is the biggest movie of the past several years with its soundtrack breaking chart records. It’s an extravaganza with songs that have found their way into the hearts of fans across the world.

Andy Brown said of his new project: “So, in between my solo album, releasing another single and putting on an anniversary show with Lawson, I wanted to try something that was a little bit different. On Monday 24th September I’m releasing my take on this fantastic soundtrack and film ‘The Greatest Showman’ – when I watched the film I fell in love with the songs and thought ‘that sounds like something I’d have written’ – I’ve put my own slant on the songs and maybe if the soundtrack/film isn’t for you, this is something you might be into” (sic)
