Fresh from the runaway success of her epic comeback ‘yes, and?’ international pop megastar Ariana Grande announces details of her highly anticipated 7th studio album ‘eternal sunshine’.
Scheduled to be released Friday, March 8th 2024 via Republic Records, the LP serves as Grande’s first full album since ‘Positions’ back in 2020.
Whilst little is known about the project, fans have already begun to speculate online that the its title most likely refers to the 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind starring Jim Carrey, and Oscar winner Kate Winslet, a movie Grande has referenced as being one of her all time favourites in the past.
The records lead single ‘yes, and?’ – written and produced by Ariana Grande, Max Martin (Britney Spears), and Ilya Salmanzadeh (Ellie Goulding) – dropped last Friday (January 12th) much to the delight of both fans and critics, with V Magazine calling the house inspired track “a classic Ariana Grande hit with tongue-in-cheek lyrics, disco-inspired sonic influences, and a house beat that is sure to get stuck in your head instantaneously”.
The song debuted at #1 on the Spotify Global Chart, and secured the ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ singer her biggest Spotify streaming debut to date.
In addition, the single secured the #1 spot on Apple Music Top 100 Global, and the official music video (directed by Christian Breslauer) claimed the #1 spot on YouTube Trending for Music.
