Sweetener is Ariana Grande’s fourth studio album and follows the singer’s 2016 release, Dangerous Woman. The new album has 15 tracks, three of which feature some of today’s biggest artists. ‘blazed’ features Pharrell Williams, ‘the light is coming’ features Nicki Minaj, and ‘borderline’ features Missy Elliot. Along with Pharrell Williams, Max Martin has also helped Ariana bring this album to life by producing it. Max Martin has produced and/or written many songs and albums from many of your favorite artists such as Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Britney Spears.
The record begins with Ariana singing beautifully in ‘raindrops (an angel cried),’ a perfect way to begin her brand-new album. The rest of the album features soulful pop anthems with sick beats and powerful vocals. She also has a song named after her fiance, Pete Davidson.
