Ariana Grande recently sat down with Byrdie Beauty where she revealed her best beauty tips and her key to being happy.
The 23-year-old is currently dominating the music scene with hits such as ‘Into You’ and ‘Side To Side’, and she’s not hiding the fact that this is what she wants to be doing for the rest of her life. I really love my life right now and I’m very appreciative and I’m grateful, so I hope that I just keep going and doing what I’m doing.” the singer told Byrdie. “I’m not gonna take it for granted.”
Since her Broadway debut in the musical ’13’, Grande has slowly created her own personal style. After ending her role as Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon’s hit shows ‘Victorious’ and ‘Sam and Cat’, her signature style has become one of her trademarks. She told the magazine, “I never expected it to become such a thing.”
Especially her famous half-ponytail has been a topic on many people’s lips. However, Grande described the particular hairstyle as “true love” and said that she always wore her hair like that because it’s comfortable. “It brings me so much joy, honestly,” she explained. “Every time I put my hair up, it’s like a surprise. Like, I forget how much I love it, and then I tie it back and I’m like, ‘I love this look! Ooh, girl!’ Every time I tie it up is like the first time.
Just like her ponytail, Grande’s entire look and style have always been clear to her. The singer told Byrdie that since she was four years old, she has been thinking that she wants to “Iook like a mix of my mom and Scary Spice.”
When it comes to choosing her favourite beauty products, lashes take the number one spot. Grande said, “I feel like I could be completely naked but have lashes, and I’d be fine.” She is also completely sure of her holy grail beauty tip – coconut oil. “I put it everywhere—in my hair, on my body. It’s the answer.”
Ariana Grande’s best advice on how to be the best version of yourself is to embrace who you are. She explained, “My fans, I just really want them to feel empowered by who they are, and to not be afraid of it.” She also emphasized on the fact that it’s important to stay true to yourself instead of taking part in the current trends. “Being yourself is one of the coolest things that you can do. As hard as it may be to get there, once you find that comfort, run with it.”
