Following the success of her first two Dangerous Woman era singles ‘Focus’ and ‘Dangerous’, Ariana Grande’s new club anthem ‘Into You’ breaks into the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Reaching a new peak of #13, the song climbs up 9 spots from the prior position of #22.
Her performance at the annual Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival most likely aided ‘Into You’, as well as the inclusion of the 69 cent sale pricing in the iTunes store.
Selling 52,000 copies (up 77 percent), ‘Into You’ also reaches a new peak on the digital song chart (30-9) and on radio (13-10).
The music video has earned Grande four nominations for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards. These includes Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Best Editing, and Best Cinematography.
Over on the iTunes and Spotify global rankings charts, ‘Into You’ carries on moderately. Per streaming it is currently placed #16 worldwide while placed at #26 in the United States.
The song marks Grande’s ninth top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
