If you were born in the late eighties or early nineties, chances are the Arthur theme song was your anthem growing up. And to this day, you probably still know every single word to it.
But if you weren’t lucky enough to be an avid and dedicated watcher of the show like we were, we’ll give you a quick rundown of it as best as we can.
Arthur Read is a spunky, smart, funny, 8 year old aardvark. He’s in the third grade and lives with his mom, dad, annoying little sister, DW, and baby sister, Kate in a small, imaginary town. The show follows Arthur and his friends through the trials and tribulations of childhood, from fighting with classmates to dealing with family issues. And of course, the theme song is definitely a bop.
And although it’s been a few years since we got off the bus after a long day at school, grabbed a juice from the refrigerator, and sat ourselves on the couch to catch up on the latest episodes, that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy our favorite aardvark.
Thanks to Twitter, Arthur is back and better than ever.
