Cláudia auditioned for Ídolos (The Portuguese version of American Idol) on two occasions as well as the first season of Factor X with little success. However, her fortune was soon about to change.

Last year, the singer auditioned for the fifth season of The Voice Portugal with the song “Dream a Little Dream of Me”. Earlier this year, Cláudia participated in Portugal’s national selection to find a representative for the Eurovision Song Contest, (Festival da Canção). On the show, she performed the song “O Jardim” which translates as “The Garden” in English.
