Darren Criss can play guitar, piano and violin among other instruments, he is one of the co-owners of the musical theater company StarKid Productions, which became famous on the internet in 2009 thanks to “A Very Potter Musical”, a play Darren co-wrote and starred. In 2010 he released his first EP “Human” and later joined the famous TV series Glee as Blaine Anderson. In 2015 he got an Emmy nomination in the category of “Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics” for the song “This Time” which he wrote for Glee’s final episode. He is also a co-founder of Elsie Fest, described by himself as a “Coachella for Broadway lovers”. Criss’ performance as the main character in Broadway’s musical “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” has been praised multiple times and he was chosen to repeat the role during the National Tour of the play.
