Who is EXO?

EXO is a South Korean pop band who made their debut in the year 2012. SM Entertainment, the management company for the band, divided the band into two sub-groups upon its format- EXO-K and EXO-M. The EXO-K group promotes the band amongst Koreans while EXO-M promotes it amongst Chinese fans.

But recently, SM merged both the subgroups resulting in one fandom – EXO-L. The decision was made after certain group member left the band to either pursue their solo careers or due to their worsening health condition. The members leaving the group included Luhan, Kris, and Tao.

This year, the group celebrated 5 years together. Throughout their journey, they have maintained a very friendly relationship with their fans. Musically, the group has been really successful with several members getting opportunities to sing for Korean Drama or collaborating with other big names in the music industry.
