What else should I know about Gromee?

Andrzej Gromala, better known professionally as Gromee is a Polish DJ and record producer who was born in the Polish city of Kraków. He owns Kingztown Music and over the years has released various singles featuring a variety of artists including wurlD, Andreas Moe and Ali Tennant.

In 2016, he signed a record deal with Sony Music and went on to achieve his first number one with the release of “Spirit” featuring Mahan Moin, which has since been certified platinum. As well as this, he won the award for best DJ/producer at the 2017 Eska Music Awards.

Last year, Gromee teamed up with singer-songwriter and musician Lukas Meijer to record and release the song “Without You”, which has since been certified gold in Poland. In March this year, he released his debut album Chapter One which reached number eight in the charts and has already been certified gold not even two months later.

In February this year, Polish broadcaster Telewizja Polska announced that Gromee and Lukas Meijer would participate as one of ten finalists in Krajowe Eliminacje, Poland’s national selection show to select a representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. They performed “Light Me Up” and won the contest after topping the televote and coming third in the jury vote. You can watch them perform in Lisbon on 10 May in the second semi-final.
