J2 is an award winning music producer and composer who is majorly known for breathing new life into both old and new songs. He has produced remixes for many artists including Shakira, LL Cool J, Beyonce, Pussy Cat Dolls, Jennifer Lopez and Cassie. Also, he has taken classics such as “Man in the Mirror” and “Love Lockdown” and turned them into “his songs”.
His unique art has helped him garner attention and his works have been included in major TV and film projects like When The Bough Breaks, Grey’s Anatomy, The Hunger Games, Divergent, The Zoo, Passengers, The Man In The High Castle and others.
His Major Achievements
In the year 2014, J2 produced and co-wrote Shakira’s song ‘Dare’ (La La La) from her tenth studio album. A reworked version was released as an official theme song for the 2014 FIFA World Cup titled “La La La (Brazil 2014).” The song was featured on Shakira’s – Activia Commercial, which was crowned most shared advertisement of all time.
