Leonora Colmor Jepson (better known as Leonora) is a Danish singer and award-winning figure skater who will be representing Denmark at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Love Is Forever”.
Born in Hellerup, a city just north of Copenhagen in Denmark, Leonora was an avid figure skater growing up having started skating at just seven years old. In her figure skating career, she competed in many championships including the ISU Riga Cup in 2015 and the ISU World Junior Championships in 2016. Also, in 2016, Leonora and her brother Linus won gold at the Danish figure-skating championships.
Earlier this year, the singer was one of ten artists who competed in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2019, with the song “Love Is Forever”. The winner of the contest was decided by a 50/50 jury and public vote, with Leonora topping the jury vote and finishing second in the public vote. She finished in first place overall and earned the honour of representing Demark at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.
