Lucie is a singer from the United Kingdom who rose to fame after appearing on the sixth season of The X Factor in 2009. She auditioned with Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’, making it through to the live shows and finishing eighth in the competition. Lucie was then signed to Select Model Management and started a career in modelling. As well as this, she has had several acting roles over the years both in theater and on television. These include Les Misérables in the West End along with tours of Ghost The Musical and Legally Blonde.
In January 2017, Lucie took part in Eurovision: You Decide (the United Kingdom’s national final to select a representative for the Eurovision Song Contest). She performed the song ‘Never Give Up On You’ which was co-written by former Eurovision winner Emmelie de Forest. Lucie won the contest and will be heading off to Kyiv in May to represent the United Kingdom at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.
