Who is Sanja Ilic?

Aleksandar “Sanja” Ilic is a composer and keyboardist based in Serbia. With a rich musical legacy to drive and guide the composer, Ilic began his musical career at the age of 12. His passion for the art drove him to compose works for different bands including Vragolani and San and in the year 1982, Aska representated Yugoslavia with his song “Halo Halo”.

Now, the composer and the architect works with his band “Belkanika” he formed in 1998. The group will be representing Serbia along with him at Eurovision Song Contest 2018.

Belkanika and Ilic will be representing their country at Eurovision with this splendid single. Combining traditional Balkan music with modern beats, the song radiates positivity and talks about inclusivity.
