Vanja Radovanovic is a singer-songwriter born in Nikšic, one of the largest cities in Montenegro. Vanja’s music career already spans over a decade, with his first big break coming from his appearance at the 2004 Budva Music Festival. He competed with the song “Dripac” and went to win the award for Best Debut.

Towards the end of 2007, Vanja released a single titled “Pricaj Dodirom”. This was followed by an album of the same name which went on to become one of the best selling albums in Montenegro. Since this, the singer has continued to release a number of singles and has performed at many concerts. He also joined the band VIII2 as their lead singer and released his second solo album titled Svi životi moji last year.

Earlier this year, Vanja took part in Montevizija 2018, Montenegro’s national selection to select a representative for the Eurovision Song Contest, as one of five artists selected to perform in the show’s final. He performed a song he had written titled “Inje” (Frost in English) and went on to win the competition with 37% of the final vote.Therefore, he will represent Montenegro at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon. You can watch Vanja perform in the second semi-final which takes place on Thursday 10 May.
