Trinidadian Kalpee returns with the Hannes and Isac remix of his brand new track ‘Colourful’, and its pulsating rhythmic presence and laid back synth parts are guaranteed to make it a club favourite.
Kalpee’s pride of his Trinidadian heritage and the classical vocal training he received as child have combined to create a truly wonderful track. He traverses many different genres from RnB, to funk, and reggae, blending them together in a seamless and ingenious way.
Kalpee’s debut single ‘No One’, garnered a positive reception worldwide, with it flying across radio stations and streaming services in Germany, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, Brussels, Norway, Singapore, Taiwan, and more. It continues to be a huge hit and currently has over 7 million plays on YouTube, whilst Kalpee himself has over 120 million general worldwide streams.
Kalpee’s obsession with music started early when he used to represent his primary and secondary school at national music festivals in his native Trinidad and Tobago. He developed his obvious talent with leading roles in School Productions, and started his career as one of the founding members of the young band ‘The Entourage’. Kalpee has now decided to go at it solo – and boy are we glad that he is.
