These past few days have been busy for former X Factor Australia winner, Dami Im, to say the least. The Korean-Australian singer has announced her first album since 2014 and it’s titled Classic Carpenters. Not only that, she has also revealed the album art, track list and the release date.
Talk about pleasant surprises!
Following the announcement that she would represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest this year, Dami Im tweeted — and later posted on Instagram — her special album news.
She spread the joy to her loyal “Dami Army”:
“Boom! My new project album is FINALLY here for preorder! Follow this link ? smarturl.it/DamiCarpenters”

Available to preorder on iTunes, the Classic Carpenters track list looks extremely promising:
- (They Long to Be) Close to You
- There’s a Kind of Hush (All Over the World)
- Yesterday Once More
- Superstar
- Rainy Days and Mondays
- This Masquerade
- A Song for You
- I Won’t Last a Day Without You
- I Need to Be in Love
- Hurting Each Other
- We’ve Only Just Begun
Now all that’s left to wonder is… Which one will be the Eurovision single? Will any of Classic Carpenters’ tracks be the special song at all?
And what does that album name mean?
Set to be released on the 22nd of April, Dami’s supporters will be on the edge of their seats to finally hear her new music and see her on the global stage. We know we’re excited for the Australian pop singer!
