Global pop star Ava Max has released the show-stopping music video for her latest single ‘EveryTime I Cry’.
Co-directed by Ava and Charlotte Rutherford, the visual follows the artist on a cinematic rollercoaster in an Utopian-style world. Waking up alone in a desert battered and bruised, Ava is scared and begins to cry. However, her tears manage to rejuvenate the earth around her, creating an ocean which allows her to save the planet in the process. Turning her vulnerability into strength, her tears ensure that the world restores its natural beauty.
Speaking about the video, Ava said: “This video demonstrates power within vulnerability. I wanted to tell a story that has the viewer watch me turn weakness into strength”.
An empowering summer bop, ‘EveryTime I Cry’ has already racked up over 32 million streams since its release. The singer has also teamed up with Pink Panda and R3HAB for two incredible remixes of the track.
