As if the pop-punk masterpiece, “Bite Me,” by Avril Lavigne wasn’t enough, she surprised fans today with an acoustic version of the track today along with a music video for it!
The music video, directed by MOD SUN, sets a whole new tone for the song, as Avril sings her heart out while getting her revenge on the person who messed with her. After all, Avril does sing, “Hey you, you should’ve known better, better to mess with someone like me.”

The music video also included some specials guests, John Feldy (music producer of the track) and his wife Amy. With this era being the first new music she has had since 2019, we love how Avril decided to work strongly with a lot of her family and friends. There’s something about that, that makes this release even more beautiful to us. We can see how much fun she’s having!
Avril is set to launch a world tour in 2022 with more dates to be announced, and we are thrilled!
