Bash Croft is continuing to carve out his place in pop with the release of his new single, ‘Everything Always Now’, alongside the announcement of his debut EP, ‘The Great Forever’, arriving November 13 via Atlantic Records.

A playful reimagining of The Wannadies’ beloved ’90s hit ‘You & Me Song’, ‘Everything Always Now’ sees Croft put his own spin on a generational favourite, weaving its instantly recognisable melody into an infectious new love song. The result is a contemporary pop offering that pays tribute to the original while establishing a sound distinctly his own.
The new single offers another glimpse into ‘The Great Forever’, an eight-track collection that takes its title from the idea of infinity. Charting a journey through heartbreak, lust and loss, the EP explores Croft’s experiences of finding himself, both personally and as an emerging artist.
It follows recent releases ‘Good Light’, which draws on the earnest pop sounds of the 2000s, and ‘Pretty People’. The latter paired an upbeat melody with more introspective reflections on heartache and grief, earning early support from BBC Radio 1 and a nod from NME, which described it as “a shimmering earworm”.
Its accompanying music video, directed by Bash’s friend and longtime collaborator Connor Jessup and styled by i-D’s Alex Kessler, introduced some of the visual motifs underpinning his forthcoming project, juxtaposing meticulously choreographed dance sequences with more intimate moments of solitude.
Although music is a relatively recent chapter in Croft’s creative career, performing has been part of his life from an early age. The Oxford-born, 24-year-old spent his childhood on the West End stage and touring the UK in productions including Les Misérables and Oliver! before moving into screen roles, playing young Ned Stark in Game of Thrones and Ben in Heartstopper. His debut single, ‘Tokyo’, released in November 2025, marked the beginning of his transition into music.
That first release, alongside the experience of making its video and stepping onto the stage for his debut gig, helped Croft find the confidence to embrace pop on his own terms. With influences including Freddie Mercury, David Bowie and George Michael, he is drawn to artists who have built distinctive creative worlds while making space for those who have often felt like outsiders.
His live trajectory has already gathered momentum. After making his debut at London’s Lower Third in late 2025, Croft took to the stage at BST Hyde Park this summer, supporting BRIT Award-winning singer Lewis Capaldi. He has also recently appeared in the latest series of The Celebrity Traitors, alongside Bella Ramsey, Maya Jama, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Richard E. Grant.
Away from music and acting, Croft has also channelled his creative platform into advocacy. Alongside Jessup, he co-founded Queer Was Always Here, a community dedicated to queer lives, art and history. Working in partnership with Choose Love, the foundation supports LGBTQIA+ refugees and displaced people around the world.
With ‘Everything Always Now’, Bash Croft continues to develop a pop identity rooted in big melodies, emotional honesty and a celebration of individuality. It is an approach that sets the tone for ‘The Great Forever’ and the next chapter of an artist still finding new ways to express himself.
‘Everything Always Now’ is out now via Atlantic Records. ‘The Great Forever’ arrives November 13 and is available to pre-save here.
