    BBC TV; Ones To Watch for 2016!

    If you are at all feeling sad that the festive season is behind us, do not fret, there is some good news ahead! The BBC have recently released a brand new trailer entitled; the one to watch.

    The trailer unveils a variety new and continuing television shows that viewers can look forward to this year.

    Popular BBC shows such as Call The Midwife, Death In Paradise, The Voice and Poldark will be returning to our screens throughout these upcoming twelve months!

    Yes – The popular characters that are Ross Poldark, D.I Humphrey Goodman and Trixie Franklin will again be returning to our screens, and there is no doubt that they will not disappoint.

    But also, we will be treated to brand new drama such as War and Peace which the first episode aired yesterday night! (Sunday the 3rd), this stars Lily James as Natasha Rostova who has also appeared in Downton Abbey and was Cinderella in the great 2015 Disney version!

    Alongside her in this, is James Norton – who has previously appeared in popular shows such as Doctor Who and Grantchester.

    There is also set to be a brand new drama The Night Manager, starring the one and only Tom Hiddleston! This will be a six part mini series based upon the novel which has the same name written by John Le Carre. Alongside Hiddleston we will see Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman, Tom Hollander and Elizabeth Debicki. It is set to air in April.

    Other shows that we can look forward to in 2016 are;  The Apprentice, The Great British Bake Off, Strictly Come Dancing and many other shows that are loved and watched by millions every year!

    The BBC really are spoiling us with this great television feast that we are able to look forward to over these coming twelve months!
