Ben and Alex Haenow cover Otis Redding’s ‘These Arms of Mine’

With a stunning rendition of a timeless classic, Ben Haenow and his brother Alex have paid tribute to the late Otis Redding. Their new cover is full of heart and soul!

The talented pair shared their very own version of ‘These Arms of Mine’ online yesterday and we’re sure that even Otis himself would have loved it. We could seriously listen to Ben’s flawless vocals and Alex’s phenomenal guitar skills all day long.

‘These Arms of Mine’ was originally released by Otis Redding back in 1962. It was one of the soul legend’s very first songs and it rightfully became a huge hit. The single may be over 50 years old but it’s stood the test of time and it still strikes a chord today.

Sharing his new cover on Facebook yesterday, Ben Haenow said: “Hey guys hope you are all good in these crazy times? Xxx here’s a little #TuesdayBluesday cover of an Otis song “these arms of mine” with my big sis Alex on guitar. Enjoy xx

Here at CelebMix, we certainly look forward to hearing more brilliant covers from the Haenow brothers soon. Just last month, they put their own spin on Martin Jensen’s ‘Solo Dance’ and you can listen to that here. It’s absolute acoustic perfection.

Fans will also be happy to hear that Ben will be releasing a new single next month. Earlier today, the former X Factor champion revealed that his new single ‘Alive’ will officially be released on the 7th July. A live version of the epic track can be heard here.

Back in March, we spoke to Ben and Alex backstage in Manchester. Our exclusive interviews with them are available here and here online. You can keep the handsome duo on your radar by following both @BenHaenow and @Alexxx335 on Twitter.
