If you still remember the 1993 American comedy-horror film “Hocus Pocus“, aka one of the best Halloween films of all time, you should also remember the iconic witch Winifred Sanderson and we’ve got good news. She’s back!
On Friday, 70-year-old actress Bette Midler attended a Halloween fundraiser bash in New York City dressed as her beloved character. As well as the iconic Winifred, Midler had everything from her broomstick, purple-and-green dress, and red hair to buck teeth, heavy makeup and a lack of eyebrows.
Fans of the cult classic have speculated that a sequel to the Halloween hit might be in the works after Sarah Jessica Parker hinted that she’d love a reunion earlier this month.
“I would love that! I think we’ve all been fairly vocal about being very keen but that hasn’t created any groundswell of movement.” – she said on Watch What Happens Live.
