Beyoncé has officially announced that her highly anticipated concert movie ‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé’ will be released in cinemas worldwide on December 1st 2023.
After details of the film, along with its US release, were revealed earlier this month, the ‘Crazy In Love’ singer confirmed on Instagram that the movie would launch on the same date around the world.
The film will then air Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with multiple showtimes programmed throughout the day.
Whilst little is known about the project, a synopsis of the feature released on the stars official website reads: “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé accentuates the journey of Renaissance World Tour from its inception, to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri.”
“It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft. Received with extraordinary acclaim, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour created a sanctuary for freedom, and shared joy, for more than 2.7 million fans.”
The Texas native will hold the world premiere of ‘Renaissance’ in London on November 30th, and the U.S. premiere in Los Angeles on November 25th.
Tickets for the film go on-sale November 9th via the movies official website.
