Big Sean On Love Life: “No Mistakes, Only Lessons”

Big Sean opened up about his past relationships referring to them as “lessons” rather than “mistakes.” The “IDFWU” rapper spoke with Entertainment Tonight at the 2015 BET Awards where he talked honestly about his split from pop singer Ariana Grande.

“Man, you know, I don’t plan relationships,” he said, adding, “They just happen. That’s all it is. I’m just … I’m living it … You know, we just out here doing what we doin’. Feelin’ it out.”

Big Sean and Grande stepped out as an official couple back in August 2014 and made their red carpet debut together at the 2015 Grammys in February. However, they called it quits eight months later.

Big Sean continued to say that with every relationship you learn something new.

“There’s no mistakes in life, though, there’s only lessons,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

The couple was rumored to have split because of busy schedules. However, sources claimed that Grande’s selfish behavior led to the initial break-up.

As for Grande, the pop star admitted that after being on her own, she has created some of the “best music” in her life. So we’ll definitely have to keep an eye (or ear) out on what new music she has for her fans.
