The 2017 Grammy’s commenced on Sunday, February 12. There were so many great moments during the show in between people accepting their awards. We’ve recapped a few of our favorite Grammy moments for those who missed the show.

    1. Twenty One Pilots Accepting Their First Grammy… Pantless

This story starts in Columbus, Ohio and it was a few years ago and it was before Josh and I were able to make money playing music and I called him up and I said, “Hey Josh, you want to come over to my rental house and watch the Grammy’s,” and he said, “yeah, who’s hangin’ there?” I said, “It’s a couple of my roomates. Just come and watch the Grammy’s with us,” and as we were watching we noticed that every single one of us was in our underwear and seriously Josh turned to me, and we were no one at that time, he turned to me and said, “ya know, if we ever go to the Grammy’s, if we ever win a Grammy, we should receive it just like this.” So, not only is this amazing, but I want to… everyone who’s watching at home to know that you could be next so watch out, okay? Because anyone from anywhere can do anything, and this is that.

Twenty One Pilots were nominated for 5 awards at the 2017 Grammy’s. When Tyler and Josh went to accept their Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, they took off their pants before walking on stage. When on stage accepting their award Tyler told everyone the above story about how their pantless decision came about.

    2. Adele Restarting Her George Michael Tribute

Adele was asked to perform “Fast Love” and not far into her performance, she stopped and asked to start again. She was singing in the wrong key.

I know it’s live TV, I’m sorry, f****, I can’t do it again like last year. I’m sorry for swearing and I’m sorry for starting again. Can we please start again? I’m sorry I can’t mess this up for him. I’m sorry. I can’t. I’m sorry for swearing. I’m really sorry. I’m sorry again.

Adele went on to nail her second performance. When she accepted her awards later in the night, she apologized if she offended anyone for cursing.

    3. James Corden Joining DNCE

DNCE announced the Bee Gees tribute and James Corden joined them on stage pretending to be a part of the band.

Most people didn’t even notice James standing with the rest of the band on stage. James was hosting the Grammy’s so it didn’t seem out of the ordinary to see him standing there.

    4. Lady Gaga Performing With Metallica

Lady Gaga was invited to perform Moth Into Flame with Metallica during the Grammy’s show. Despite James’ microphone having some technical difficulties, he still made sure to sing until his microphone got fixed.

    5. James Corden Following the No Pants Bandwagon

After the commercial break following Twenty One Pilots accepting their award, James Corden showed up on stage without wearing his pants. He later changed into a different suit and wore the matching pants.
