There is no denying that Billboard strives to present content that brings fans closer to their favourite artists. From making till fall, the publication presents all aspects of an artist’s life.

This time too, the publication is trying to do something similar. As per the reports by Entertainment Weekly, Billboard will soon be launching a music documentary series on Snapchat Discover. The series will be sponsored by Honda.

    What’s the documentary about?

Titled “Artist’s Pass”, the music documentary series will show behind the scenes preparation of artists before their big performances. As per EW, each episode will be 4 to 5 minutes long. To begin with, the series will be featuring Luke Bryan, Demi Lovato and Rae Sremmurd. The episodes will be available on Snapchat Discover for 48 hours.

    How is the series different?

We have had such shows before but what seems to differentiate “Artist’s Pass” is the brevity of content offered. As more and more options appear online, the attention span of a viewer for this kind of show has gone down. It will be interesting to see how audience reacts to this new series.
