Billie Eilish Has Released Debut Album ‘WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO’

On Friday, March 28th, 2019, Billie Eilish released her debut studio album, WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO.

The 14 songs that make up the pop/alternative album begins with “!!!!!!!”, an introduction to the album. It’s a sample of Billie Eilish taking out her Invisalign and saying “this is the album.” Then it goes right into the second song on the track called “bad guy“, one of our favorite songs off the album. The song has a heavy drum beat, a lot of snaps and a completely different ending. It’s quite catchy. It was a great choice to really kick off an album to get the listener amped to hear the rest of the songs.

The ninth song,my strange addiction, samples sounds from the hit U.S. TV show, The Office. We knew instantly as the song began that Steve Carell’s character, Michael Scott, was speaking.

Familiar songs that have been released as singles take spots on the album such as “bury a friend”, “wish you were gay”, and “you should see me in a crown”. Watch the music video for “bury a friend” below:

Some songs that really put us in our feels were “when the party’s over”, “listen before I go”, and “i love you”.

In conclusion, we definitely recommend that you take some time to listen to the album wherever you listen to music. Our top picks/favorites (in no order) are: “bad guy”, “my strange addiction” and “i love you”.
