BLACKPINK‘s youngest member, Lisa, has become the most-followed Korean female celebrity on Instagram. With over 13 million followers, she has surpassed the previous record holder, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, who has 12.9 million followers.
The other BLACKPINK members are close behind, with Jennie having 11.8, Rose 10.1 and Jisoo 10 million. All the members are within the top five most-followed female celebrities in Korea.
Lisa’s impressive achievement comes only seven months after she joined the platform. Up until June of 2018, the girls of BLACKPINK shared the group account, but soon created individual accounts with usernames @jennierubyjane, @roses_are_rosie, @sooyaaa__, and @lalalalisa_m. Since joining IG, Lisa has shared 150 posts, which include beautiful photographs and killer choreographies.
No wonder she has the crown!
