When it comes to music festivals, it seems that there’s something for everyone. There are festivals on the beach, in the desert, and in ‘the forest’. There are festivals dedicated to hip hop, country, and rock – just to name a few. There are festivals that include art, yoga, and ways to be charitable while you take a break from your real life for a long weekend. While all these options are incredible, there’s one that does it all, and they just released their lineup today.
Bonnaroo is an all encompassing music fest, where some of the biggest names in music come together for a weekend on the farm. For four days, every trace of normal life is abandoned and is replaced with an incredible and exciting atmosphere of friends, fun, and freedom. This year, the soundtrack that will accompany that feeling is going to be led by names like U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Weeknd.
If you can’t get over the big reveal, you’re not alone. We’ve been counting down the days until the talent was revealed and we are not disappointed. It’s also worth mentioning that this is the first ever US music festival that U2 is headlining. We’re considering ourselves lucky.
