Bonnie Tyler is set to sing her huge 1983 hit song, “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” aboard the Oasis of the Seas ship on Royal Caribbean’s Total Eclipse Cruise. This eclipse is predicted to occur on Monday, August 21, and will be the first total eclipse visible from the United States since 1979. The ship will be set at an optimal position that the solar eclipse can be viewed from the sea.
Alongside Tyler, the Joe Jonas-led band DNCE, renowned for their hit song, “Cake by the Ocean”, will serve as the backing band for the performance of the famous 80’s classic. They are set to perform “Total Eclipse of the Heart” just as the total solar eclipse occurs. However, the eclipse is predicted to last around two minutes and forty seconds while Bonnie Tyler’s hit song lasts a bit over four minutes.
Those who are aboard the cruise will be able to watch this once-in-a-lifetime performance on August 21, but everyone at home can find out when and where to watch the total eclipse of the sun by clicking HERE.
