Featuring the singles ‘Cry At The Moon’, ‘Picasso’, ‘Daisies’, ‘Always Like This’, ‘Holy Grail’ and ‘Carpet Burn’, the record marks a significant departure from his band’s pop-centric sound, delving into a more mature indie-rock aesthetic enriched with vibrant ’80s synths and introspective lyrics.
Critics have lauded the project for its depth and versatility, with Melomaniacs Magazine praising Simpson’s growth as a solo artist, noting his ability to craft deeply personal lyrics and his undeniable versatility.
